Slovaks did not belong to the greatest traveller in the last year. From the inhabitants of European countries Slovaks occupied the 21st crossbar of number of inhabitants, who traveled abroad.
Approximately 71% of Europeans spent at least one night outside of their house, Slovaks only 58%. The biggest travelers were Swedes, Finns and Dutch.
The main aim for Slovaks to go abroad were regeneration, spending time on the beach and enjoying the sun and sea.
The main reason to stay at home were deficiency of money, private reasons and deficiency of the time.
Slovakia like a destination for holiday is not very popular, only 0,5 % of Europeans visited Slovakia last year.
