HALTING PRODUCTION OF THE VOLKSWAGEN
The financial crisis continues. Dismissal of employees in very intense and closures are becoming increasingly common fact. In Bratislava automotive enterprise Volkswagen on Monday halted production. Many people are to leave unwanted. Go to work just maintenance work. All the halls are empty. On 25 February is to resume production. Its really so? The enterprise employs over 7500 people.
Some employees voluntarily terminated employment. Decreased interest in cars and staled production. Volkswagen wants to extend the production of small cars.
This financial crisis hit the other car companies – KIA MOTORS in Žilina, PSA PEUGEOT CITROEN in Trnava. Many people are released from employment and many more people will be released.
